Borobudur & Prambanan Guided Tour

Borobudur  and Prambanan, two of Indonesia’s most famous temples. These UNESCO World Heritage Sites are rich in history, culture, and stunning architecture, offering a glimpse into the country’s Buddhist and Hindu heritage.

Borobudur Temple

The tour starts at Borobudur, the world’s largest Buddhist temple, built in the 9th century. This massive structure has nine levels decorated with over 2,600 relief panels and 500 Buddha statues. As you walk up each tier, your guide will explain the carvings that tell stories about Buddhist teachings and daily life in ancient times.

At the top, you’ll find circular terraces with bell-shaped stupas, each containing a Buddha statue. From here, enjoy views of green landscapes, misty hills, and distant mountains. The peaceful atmosphere makes it a great place to take in the beauty of the surroundings.

Prambanan Temple

Next, visit Prambanan, the largest Hindu temple complex in Indonesia. Built in the same era as Borobudur, this site is dedicated to the Hindu gods Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva. The tallest temple, standing at 47 meters, is devoted to Shiva and covered in detailed carvings that tell the story of the Ramayana.

Your guide will take you through the temple grounds, where you’ll learn about the legends and history behind the structures. The smaller surrounding temples, each with unique details, add to the beauty of the complex. The open space and impressive stonework make Prambanan a fascinating place to explore.

        • The tour will finish around 5-6 pm, depends on the condition and we’re not responsible any late conditions such as missing train or flight departure time.
        • Temple guide is included inside both Temples for all options.
        • Ticket payments can be made by card (Card Machine Processor) or Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) cash collected before the tour departure.
        • Borobudur and Prambanan Adult tickets are IDR850,000 per person and they are paid onsite if you select the "Tour With Meeting Point" option, other ticket categorie will be Informed on WhatsApp.

        • Kindly put your WhatsApp number while booking, for better communication.
        • Kindly arrive 15 minutes before meeting time. The tour will be departed at meeting point at 08.00am for Prawirotaman Meeting point, and 08.30am for Tugu meeting point.
        • The temple visit is possible to be reversed, Prambanan at the beginning and Borobudur at the end.
        • For lunch, we choose a restaurant with food hygiene standard
