Mount Bromo is part of the Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park, a vast protected area that features dramatic landscapes, volcanic craters, and lush green valleys. The park is named after two of its mountains: Mount Bromo and Mount Semeru, the highest peak in Java. Mount Bromo, standing at 2,329 meters above sea level, is renowned for its active crater and the surrounding sea of volcanic sand, known as the "Sand Sea."
